Feedback
NOTE: As of December 19, 2009, we’ve closed this post to feedback from the 2009 Spiral Dance. We’re past the time alloted for comments–and we’re starting to get spam which takes time to delete. Thanks to all of you who have posted–see you in 2010, and Blessed Solstice!
The Spiral Dance organizing cell and ritual-makers welcome your constructive feedback and comments. We want to hear any and all feedback—praise and criticism alike– on the ritual itself and/or the organizing and logistics, with the following guidelines:
–The intent of the feedback is to improve the work.
–Please be as specific as possible. It doesn’t help us improve by hearing either ‘the ritual lifted my heart to sing with the winged choir of the stars’ or ‘the ritual was slow as a turtle in a mud hole’ (granted that we’d rather hear the former!) What does help is specifics, such as “I was totally enthralled by the invocation to Thoth but the ten-hour list of plague victims brought the energy down.”
–Please speak of your own experience, not things you’ve heard from others. Avoid ‘everybody says,” or “I’ve heard from a lot of people…” Encourage them to come to this site and express their own opinions.
–Please respect the immense amount of work and effort that goes into creating this ritual.
–We will monitor and approve comments for 30 days—from November 2 until December 1. First, we’ll take 24 hours to rest and digest—you may enter comments before Nov. 2 but they won’t appear on the site until we have time to approve them.
Comments must be approved to be posted here, so it may take a bit of time for your comment to appear. We will approve all comments that fall within the guidelines above. We will not approve personal attacks, lengthy advertisements for medical products, porn sites, or remarks so vague and general they appear to be spam. “This site makes me want to start a blog of my own!”
Remember, we’re all busy volunteers—no one gets paid to monitor this site or to do the immense work involved in this ritual. All proceeds go to support Reclaiming’s activities throughout the year. So please be patient.
Thanks for your support, and for the gift of your thoughtful and constructive feedback.
