Spiral Dance

Let it begin with each change we make

let it begin with each chain we break

let it begin every time we awake

Check out our Printify shop (click on image at left) for a cool collection of clothing, pillows, mugs etc. featuring the iconic, spiraling crowd photo taken by Michael Rauner on one side and The Quatrain of The Litany by Starhawk on the other. All proceeds go to ritual production costs.

The Richmond Auditorium is half a mile from Richmond BART station. The route is flat and easily walkable.

To walk there, leave the station through exit B, to 19th Street and Civic Center. That sends you up a long winding ramp (or stairs) and a long stretch of sidewalk to the corner of Nevin and 19th Street. On the right hand side of that corner, there's a sign pointing to Civic Center and Richmond Auditorium half a mile away. (If you find yourself looking at the Amtrak station and bus stops in the parking lot instead, you've taken the wrong exit. Turn around and go the other way.)

Cross 19th Street and continue on Nevin for half a mile, until you reach an open plaza on the left. When you enter the plaza, City Hall will be straight in front of you. Richmond Auditorium's main entrance will be the first door on your left. It has ticket booths on either side of it.

Going that way, you'll pass another door labeled Richmond Auditorium before you get to the plaza. Don't be fooled, that's not the main entrance.

If you are a volunteer, the volunteer entrance is off the parking lot at 25th Street and Nevin, which you'll reach a block before you get to the plaza. The pedestrian walkway is just past the driveway to the parking lot. The first ramp on the right of the walkway goes to our volunteer entrance.
